Sandy Funk M.A., CCC-SLP

Sandy received both her B.A., and M.A., at the University of Central Florida. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology and is a licensed and board certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds state licensure in California and Florida. Sandy is a 2017 recipient of the ASHA ACE award for continued professional study. She has received a Medical Speech and Language Pathology graduate certificate from the University of Central Florida, to further her knowledge and skills necessary to treat individuals with medically related communication disorders, including traumatic brain injuries, cognitive rehabilitation, and feeding and swallowing disorders. Sandy has over 8 years experience working in the public and private school systems. Here her work focused on articulation/phonology, language disorders, fluency, augmentative communication, social communication, and early intervention. Sandy strongly believes that every person is unique and each therapy session should be individualized to meet those needs of client and family/caregivers.
